  1. Hello there to Tom, and all the associated Field Agents here at literary007,

Just wanted to drop you a note to say that I had a really wonderful time doing the Ian Fleming Walking Tour, the weekend before last….! (I was there with my wife Jeanine — we were the American couple, now living here in Ol’ Blighty….!) The finale wrapping up in Mitre Court was especially lovely — you guys really pulled out all the stops, and it was massive good fun.

It’s funny, because I was worried that my wife might be bored to tears, having me drag her around the city, learning about the arcana of the Bond universe — but she absolutely loved it….! She was especially enthralled with Sophie Harley, and with seeing the actual sketchbook for the ‘Algerian Love Knot’ that was designed for Casino Royale….

Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the tour, and how much we enjoyed meeting all the intriguing people associated with the evening. (In fact, because of our lengthy chat with Edward in the courtyard, my wife is now enthused to host a little “James Bond”-themed dinner party, using some of Edward’s Flemingesque recipes…!)

All my best…. Hope to catch you again at a future Fleming event….!

    — Dave the Rave

    • Dear David,

Well, it doesn’t get much better than that, so thank you! On behalf of myself and Jon at Maxus Walks, we are thrilled you both had such a good time and that you are inspired.

Consider yourselves part of the literary Bond family now.
