From the personal collection of James M. Pickard are these stunning original paintings by the noted Los Angeles artist George Almond (famous for his cover artwork for Bondage 18). James commissioned these paintings from George in the late 1980’s and they have been proudly displayed in his 007 collection since that time. James has now taken the decision to offer these paintings for sale advertising them via Artistic Licence Renewed.

James is, perhaps, better known as one of the leading dealers (and indeed collectors) of Ian Fleming first editions and associated Bondiana. He was the co-author of an early bibliography of the James Bond novels published in Firsts Magazine in November 1998 (and updated in 2008). James is a full member of the ABA, ILAB and the PBFA.
